Today marks the second year since God led me into a new ministry and it continues to be an incredible, deeply rewarding journey. Thank you to Vivian for saying “This is definitely what you need to do.” Thank you to my friends and supporters for your diligent prayers. Thank you to my board members and for my partners at Griffith Coaching and at Passion in Partnership. Thank you to all the young adults through the years who shared your life and faith with me. The inspiration of seeing you follow your gifts and calling into Christ’s beautiful future brought me to this most excellent place. Thank you to the many churches, pastors and laity who continue to place your trust in me to walk alongside you as you reach out to new people in your mission field. I am so grateful for your faithful and fruitful ministry.
I received the best anniversary gift this week when St. Paul United Methodist Church, Rosewood Heights, IL received the Denman Award for Evangelism for the work of their Crave Young Adult Team for launching the Awakening on Saturday nights. Pastor Daryl Fansler, Crave coordinator Betsy Blacklock, Ryan Tite and other laity participated in the first Reaching Younger Adults coaching cluster after I launched my coaching ministry.
Most of all, I give thanks to the God who gives me life and has surrounded me with love from family and friends and to Jesus who continues to draw people toward the love that is the source of life.
